Live-in Caregiver
Long placements. Real relationships. The most stable income in caregiving.
Stay with one family. Provide round-the-clock presence. Earn more, grow deeper roots.
Live-in caregivers stay with one family for weeks or months. You wake up in the home, do the morning routine, manage the day with calm rhythm, and watch through the night. We pay for the work, and the family provides board and a private sleeping space.
This is the most demanding shape of caregiving and also the most rewarding. You become genuinely part of someone's last years or a long recovery, and most placements last 3 to 9 months. We give you a relief caregiver for your weekly off, a supervisor who visits every two weeks, and an emergency line that always picks up.
Most live-in caregivers move into this role after 6 months of day-shift work — by then we know the kind of family that fits you, and you know what a live-in week actually looks like.
The work, day-to-day.
Real responsibilities — not vague aspirations. If something sounds like it isn't your strength, tell us in the application. We'll work with it.

What candidates ask us.
Do I really have to live in the family's home?
Yes — that is the defining characteristic of the role. The family provides a private bed in a separate room, or in the patient's room with separation. You're free to leave during agreed rest hours.
What if the family doesn't respect my rest time?
Tell your supervisor. We have firm boundaries on rest time and we will intervene with the family or move you.
Can I take my weekly off home?
Yes. The relief caregiver arrives the day before, gets a handover, and you go home for 24 hours. Travel allowance is included.
Will I get the same family for months?
Usually yes — most live-in placements last 3–9 months. We aim for continuity because it's what families need and you build a deeper relationship.
What if the patient passes away?
We handle the transition with care. You move to a new placement within a week, and the agency pays a small support amount during the gap.
